The Queensland Pirates are Volleyball Queensland’s premier senior indoor volleyball representative program, competing annually in Volleyball Australia’s Mahindra Australian Volleyball Super League.

Based in Brisbane, the Pirates continue to be one of the most successful and respected clubs in the competition. The Pirates Men added another chapter to their legacy in 2025, securing back-to-back championships and adding to previous titles in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2024.
The Pirates Women also continue to build a strong record of success, claiming national championships in 2022 and 2024.

Together, the program represents elite Queensland talent, underpinned by strong values, professionalism, and a deep connection to the statewide volleyball community.

The Mahindra Australian Volleyball Super League is Australia’s national indoor volleyball competition, showcasing the nation’s top athletes in a dynamic, fast-paced format designed for fans, broadcast, and high-performance development.

  • Modified scoring systems, including the Power Play and bonus points
  • High-intensity sets designed to elevate spectator excitement and competitive stakes

2026 Season Information

Details for the 2026 Super League season, including trials, roster announcements, fixtures, broadcast information, and match day experiences, will be released in early 2026.
