Queensland State Championships

Each year, Volleyball Queensland’s State Championships plays host to volleyball associations and clubs from across Queensland. As teams compete for the most prestigious trophies in the state – the VQ State Championships and the VQ President’s Shield, awarded to the best performing association or club across all divisions – the State Championships is an action packed tournament!

2023 QLD Junior State Championships

Divisions: U19A Boys & Girls / U19B  Boys & Girls / U17A  Boys & Girls / U17B  Boys & Girls / U15A  Boys & Girls / U15B Boys & Girls

Venues: Coomera Indoor Sports Centre & Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre (Hall 2 only)
Membership: All athletes must be current financial members of VQ

2023 QLD Senior State Championships

Date: 30 September – Monday 2 October 2023
Divisions: Division 1A Men & Women / Division 1B Men & Women / Division 2A Men & Women / Division 2B Men & Women / Division 3A Men & Women / Division 3B Men & Women

Venues: Coomera Indoor Sports Centre & Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium
Membership: All athletes must be current financial members of VQ

Format Details - 2023 Junior & Senior State Championships
  • Best of three (3) sets; including all finals and medal matches
  • Set 1-2 to 25 points with a two-point advantage
  • Set 3 to 15 points with a two-point advantage
  • No cap is applied to any set
