2026/27 Queensland Youth Beach Coach Applications 

The Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships (AYBVC) is the premier national championship for youth volleyball athletes in the U14–U18 age groups. Queensland’s youth beach representative volleyball teams compete annually, with Volleyball Queensland proudly defending the title since 2011. Volleyball Queensland will enter up to 5 teams per age group and gender to compete at the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships in Coolangatta.

Volleyball Queensland is seeking applications from;

• volleyball coaches who are experienced in beach representative team programs and hold VA Level 3 accreditation, to be appointed as Mentor Coaches and/or
• volleyball coaches who are experienced in beach representative team programs and hold VA Level 3 accreditation, to be appointed as Age Group Head Coaches and/or
• volleyball coaches who are qualified with minimum VA Level 2 State accreditation to undertake assistant coach roles

Volleyball Queensland may appoint a Head Coach with a Level 2 State accreditation if they have the relevant experience and technical understanding.

All appointed coaches will be required between November and March to:

• Contribute to the identification of squad members at the trials on 1st November and 8th November, 2026
• Conduct scheduled training sessions and attend QBVT compulsory rounds
• Coach and supervise teams at the Championships in March 2027
  • Applicants will need to submit their Conflict of Interest Declaration which is Page 5 and 6 of the COI policy to stateteams@vq.org.au at the time of their online coaching application. Applications close Tuesday, 8 September 2026 at 5pm. Applications will not be accepted after this time.
