Junior Pirates Camp
Junior Pirates Camp is an exciting, introductory volleyball camp designed for students in Years 6 to 11. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or already have some experience, this camp offers the perfect opportunity to learn and grow your skills in a supportive and fun environment.
Over the course of the camp, participants will be introduced to the fundamental techniques of volleyball, including serving, passing, setting, and hitting. Through a mix of skill-based drills, game play, and team activities, participants will build confidence on the court while developing a strong foundation in the sport.
In addition to on-court sessions, the camp also includes engaging & informative sessions on player pathways and officiating, giving participants valuable insights into how they can progress through the sport as players, referees, or coaches. These sessions are a great way to explore future opportunities in volleyball and better understand how to get involved at different levels.
The camp is also a great opportunity for new and developing coaches, offering a chance to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced Volleyball Queensland coaches and mentors.
Held during the school holidays, Junior Pirates Camp is all about learning, improvement, and fun — making it the perfect way to stay active, meet new friends, and get a taste of what volleyball is all about!
