About Us
Volleyball Queensland is a not-for-profit, member-based organisation dedicated to growing and supporting volleyball in all its forms across Queensland. Established in 1969, we work alongside a strong network of affiliated clubs and associations spanning from Cairns to the Gold Coast.
We provide opportunities for people of all ages, abilities, and experience levels to engage with volleyball – from first-timers to high-performance athletes. Our programs include competitive and recreational leagues, school-based initiatives, tournaments, and major events across beach, indoor, and sitting volleyball.
Volleyball Queensland is governed by an elected Board of Management and generates revenue through competitions, leagues, feature events, and corporate partnerships. Our work is proudly supported by grant funding from the Queensland Government.
