Based in Brisbane, the Pirates boast a powerful legacy—men’s team titles in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2024. The women’s squad captured the national championship in 2022 and 2024! The Mahindra Australian Volleyball Super League is the new format for Australia’s national indoor volleyball competition, featuring both men’s and women’s teams. Adjustments to game length, fewer timeouts, and quicker end changes are among the key updates. Additionally, the introduction of a new points system, the thrilling ‘Power Play’, and bonus points will impact the leaderboard and the movement of teams.
