VQ WELCOMES BACK VOLLEYBALL SUNSHINE COAST

It is with great pleasure that Volleyball Queensland announces the return of Volleyball Sunshine Coast.

Volleyball Sunshine Coast has 80 members and will look to compete in Premier Volleyball League, Queensland State Championships and Queensland Country Championships in 2022.

This organisation utilises The Sandpit, Nambour for beach volleyball and the University of Sunshine Coast, Sippy Downs for indoor volleyball.

Jeff Bampton, Club President of Volleyball Sunshine Coast, said:
“2021 Queensland State Championships was a great start for our club to get back into the frame of things and I have nothing but positive feedback from our group of players concerning Volleyball Sunshine Coast and the event that Volleyball Queensland ran – well done!”

David Stokes, Club Services Coordinator at Volleyball Queensland, said:
“We are thrilled to welcome back Jeff and Volleyball Sunshine Coast to the
Volleyball Queensland family.

Our strong relationship will play a key role in continuing to encourage, develop and promote both beach and indoor volleyball in this region.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish the club the very best of luck now and in the future.”

We are looking forward to working with Volleyball Sunshine Coast and invite the wider Volleyball Queensland community to make them feel welcome.
