VQ welcomes Brisbane Slavic United Volleyball Club

It is with great pleasure that Volleyball Queensland announces its newest affiliate, Brisbane Slavic United Volleyball Club.

Brisbane Slavic United Volleyball Club has an impressive and diverse member base and will be competing in Premier Volleyball League, Queensland State Championships, Queensland Country Championships and Metro League in 2021.

Victor Lazarev, Club President of Brisbane Slavic United Volleyball Club, said:
“On behalf of Brisbane Slavic United Volleyball Club I would like to thank everyone who is showing their support and provided help at bringing the club to the next level!

“We are very pleased to announce Cesar Zamora (International level 2 coach) as the head coach of the club. He has excellent volleyball and sporting qualifications and will continue to develop our players as we chase the premiership glory.
 
“Brisbane Slavic United has two ‘home’ grounds to suit players from South Brisbane, Gold Coast and East Brisbane areas. We run our training sessions twice a week at Nissan Arena and Sleeman Sports Complex.
 
“A huge note of gratitude to our generous sponsors HOT Services and Prestige Global Development this year. The level of support we gain from these partners allows us to provide the best environment for success and enjoyment across the members.
