It is with great pleasure that Volleyball Queensland announces its 8th new Affiliate member of 2022, Morayfield Volleyball.

Morayfield Volleyball is a competitive volleyball club who train and play at Morayfield Sport & Events Centre and have a solid number of both junior and senior members. This organisation intends to compete in upcoming beach tournaments and the Junior Premier Volleyball League & Premier Volleyball League competitions in 2023.

Kurt Kidman, Secretary of Morayfield Volleyball, said:
“Morayfield Volleyball was started by one passionate person, this has now developed into its own community.
Being affiliated with Volleyball Queensland is a massive step towards Morayfield Volleyball becoming a key destination for volleyball in the Moreton Bay region.”

David Stokes, Sport Services Manager at Volleyball Queensland, said:
“We are delighted to welcome Morayfield Volleyball to our ever-growing family.
This is another landmark day for our regional network of clubs and associations as our sport continues to bridge the gap by offering additional participation opportunities for volleyballers outside of South-East Queensland. We wish the organisation the very best of luck for the remainder of 2022 and beyond.”

We are looking forward to working with Morayfield Volleyball and invite the wider Volleyball Queensland community to make them feel welcome.
