Held annually, Volleyball Queensland’s State Championships brings together volleyball associations and clubs from across Queensland. The event features two separate tournaments: the Junior State Championships and the Senior State Championships, providing a platform for athletes of all ages to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level.
Teams vie for two of the state’s top titles – the VQ State Championships and the VQ President’s Shield, awarded to the best-performing association or club across all divisions. Each tournament features multiple divisions, ensuring a competitive yet accessible environment for all skill levels.
This exciting event draws volleyball enthusiasts from across the state, featuring intense competition and showcasing the best of the sport.

Format Details - 2025 Senior State Championships
- Best of three (3) sets; including all finals and medal matches
- Set 1-2 to 25 points with a two-point advantage
- Set 3 to 15 points with a two-point advantage
- No cap is applied to any set

*Players must be under the stated age for the full calendar year of the competition (e.g. to be eligible to play for the U17 Division a player cannot turn 17 in the year of the competition).
