Each year Volleyball Queensland hosts its Future Stars camp, an invitation-only development opportunity for young aspiring volleyball athletes. This year, the camp was held over 16-17 November to tie in with the Queensland Pirates match against the Canberra Heat at Nissan Arena.
Volleyball QLD has a strong history at the Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships, and this year’s event was no exception.
Congratulations are in order for both the women’s and men’s QLD Pirates teams who have claimed victory in the Australian Volleyball League titles!
Junior Schools Cup, the last of the Volleyball Queensland’s Schools Cup tournaments for 2018, was held from 19-21 October and welcomed 157 teams and 1,300 athletes from 60 schools.
The Board of Volleyball Queensland has appointed Vicky Denner to fill the current vacancy on the Board of Management until the Annual General Meeting in 2019.
