Stay up-to-date with Volleyball Queensland’s evolving calendar of events in response to the latest government advice and guidance to further limit the spread of Covid-19.

Earlier this month, the Queensland Government published its ‘Roadmap to easing Queensland’s (COVID-19) restrictions’ which included advice of when sports may be able to return to training and playing. This update outlines what it means for volleyball.

It is with great pleasure that Volleyball Queensland announces its newest affiliate, Elite Volleyball Club.

More than 1,000 students aged 12 – 17 are heading to Coolangatta on 08 – 09 March as they compete in the largest ever school beach volleyball competition to hit the Gold Coast.

Next month, the Australian Junior Beach Volleyball Championships (AJBVC) will take place at Coolangatta beach in our home state of Queensland.

Volleyball Queensland has an incredibly strong history with the Australian Volleyball Championships (AVL) with our Queensland Pirates are renowned for bringing dedication, passion, and fierce competition to the court.

Each year Volleyball Queensland hosts its Future Stars camp, an invitation-only development opportunity for young aspiring volleyball athletes. This year, the camp was held over 16-17 November to tie in with the Queensland Pirates match against the Canberra Heat at Nissan Arena.

Volleyball Queensland (VQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gary O’Donnell as the new General Manager of  VQ.
VQ President, Boris Georgieff said Gary’s appointment will commence on Thursday 24 October and include a short hand over period with the current General Manager, Jon Gibbs.
